KISETA

Privacy policy

Kiseta helps you keep track of your children's clothes and hold on to the days behind them. Here's what we collect and where it lives.

Sign-in is optional

Sign-in is optional. Your clothes, photos, children’s details, and wear records stay on your device until you start family sharing. To share, sign in with Apple or Google. Information handled by advertising, analytics, and authentication services is explained under “Third parties, ads, and analytics” below.

When you turn on family sharing

Family sharing stores the following on Google Firebase, readable only by the members of your family group (up to two people): • Clothing names, brands, categories, sizes, colors, patterns, thickness, seasons, purposes, tags, status, photos and favorites • Purchase date, price, shop, storage place and notes for each item • The dates worn and which items were worn that day • Children's nicknames, birthdays, height, weight and shoe size • Memory photos and notes — only if you turn those settings on • The push token and device language needed to deliver notifications — only if you allow notifications The device language is used to write each notification in the recipient’s own language. A notification only says something like “A new item was added” — never the photos or the notes themselves. You can leave the group at any time, and your push token is deleted when you leave. When the last member leaves, everything shared — including the photos — is deleted.

Memory photos stay on your device by default

Photos attached to a record (your memory photos) stay on your device by default. Only if you turn on “Share memory photos” with Premium do we store them on Firebase, so they can reach the other member of your family group. Leave it off and they stay on your device even while you use sharing. Notes work the same way — they are sent only if you turn that on (off by default). If you stop sharing, memory photos in the cloud are deleted after 30 days. The photos on your device are never deleted.

What comes back if you lose your data

Here's what comes back if the data on your device is gone. • Clothes, wear records, children's details — on your device, and in device backups such as iCloud. And in the cloud, if you have started sharing • Clothing photos — the same. And in the cloud, if you have started sharing (on the free plan too) • Memory photos — on your device and in device backups. We keep them in the cloud only when you turn on “Share memory photos” with Premium The iPhone's iCloud backup covers this app's data too, so it comes back when you restore a new phone or one you have reset. If you have backups turned off, or your backup is old, that much is lost. If you have not started sharing (that is, not signed in), your data is only on your device and in device backups. Pressing “Start sharing” puts it in the cloud even when you are on your own, so it counts with nobody else in the group. If you cancel Premium, the memory photos we were keeping in the cloud are deleted after 30 days. The photos on your device stay as they are.

Third parties, ads and analytics

We never sell your data. To improve usability, Google Analytics for Firebase collects screen views, feature usage, purchase events, and device and app information. Advertising and analytics SDKs may collect device identifiers, approximate location, ad views and interactions, and crash and performance information. The free version shows Google AdMob ads and requests consent where needed. You can use the app even if you decline tracking. Clothing details, children’s information, and memory photos and notes are never included in advertising or analytics events. Google Firebase also provides family sharing storage, sign-in, notifications, and app configuration. Sign-in uses the name, email address, and user ID supplied by your authentication provider. Premium removes ads; usage analytics continue.

Deleting your data

Deleting the app removes everything stored on your device. To remove shared information, leave your group from Family Sharing. While your partner is still in the group the data is theirs and stays; once the last member leaves, everything shared — including the photos — is deleted. If you want to remove your account itself, use “Delete account” at the bottom of Family Sharing — you can do it inside the app. The clothes, records and memory photos on your device stay as they are.
